A Message From Superintendent Dr. Susan Coleman
Dear Golf 67 Families,
As the school year comes to a close, I wanted to take this time to express my gratitude to our Golf 67 family for entrusting us with your most precious commodity…your children. Together, we have watched them grow in inches, shoe size and confidence. With your help and support, we continue to work together on behalf of all students. Your dedication and pride in Golf 67 is overwhelming. To our volunteers, for everything from Mystery Readers to chaperoning the 8th grade dance, we could not have had such a successful year without you! A special shout out to our amazing PTA who provides opportunities for our students while showering staff with love (and food). Our partnership is vital to the amazing educational and social emotional experience for our students.
I am excited to work with our administrative team this summer to plan for an amazing 2023-2024 school year as we continue to grow and make progress towards our strategic plan. I hope this summer gives everyone a chance to refresh, relax and rejuvenate. My wish is that we all can take a moment to appreciate the wonderful things in our lives like family, friends, and opportunity. I plan to enjoy the sunshine, read some great books, and put down my devices.
I am proud and humbled to serve this community as your Superintendent. Golf 67 is a shining gem that I am fortunate enough to call home. I cannot thank you enough for your continued support. May your summer be filled with joy, good health and peace. Be safe and take care of yourselves and one another.
See you in the fall.
Yours in service,
Dr. Susan Coleman

Field Days at Golf Middle School
This was a wonderful school and community-building opportunity as each team was made up of students from each grade level. As they cycled through twelve activities, they worked together to earn points at each station. Activities included the three-legged race, water relay, trivia, non-dominate hand drawing contest, cornhole, water bottle flip, limbo, an obstacle course, and more! There was something for everyone!
Kindness ROCKS
Students in the Volunteer Service Clubs at Golf Middle School and Hynes Elementary School truly enjoyed creating inspirational kindness rocks to share positive messages of encouragement with others. Each school has a special Kindness Garden filled with flowers and rocks to share with our school community and spread joy, caring and compassion!
A HUGE Shout-Out goes to the Golf District 67 Foundation for awarding a $300 grant to the GMS Volunteer Service Club this year to help fund the beautiful flowers, potting soil, painting supplies and rocks! We truly appreciate your support!
Please feel free to stop by and pick up a Kindness Rock or leave one of your own to share in our gardens.
Together, we will continue to "Bloom Kindness" in our wonderful school community!
