JUNETEENTH PAGEANT REGISTRATION

June 19th marks Juneteenth National Freedom Day. Juneteenth is the name given to the Emancipation Day by African Americans in the state of Texas. Since 1997, the Delaware Juneteenth Association (DEJA) has provided a platform for Delaware girls to showcase their talent, poise, writing skills and high self-esteem as a part of its heritage celebration.
We are seeking girls ages 8-18 to participate in this year's pageant/showcase.
In addition to traditional pageantry, DEJA offers participants and their families,
bi-weekly workshops that focus on education dance and building relationships.
