Commissioned and first produced by John F Kennedy Center for the Arts (Washington DC), it is set in a dystopian time where language is rationed by The City due to a violent conflict. A misspoke word can get you sentenced by the officials and the silent ones are beginning to rise. Our young hero Orhan discovers that a word can change the world as this story unfolds.
The performance will be at the Lake Havasu High School Little Theater Thursday & Friday, February 29th & March 1st at 7 pm & March 2nd at 2pm. Tickets are sold at the door, $3 for children/students & $5 for adults. Cash only. We hope to see you there

Teacher Spotlight - Mr. Brian Ulmer Cabinetmaking
My name is Brian Ulmer. I was born and raised in Southern California, and moved to Lake Havasu City my Sophomore year in high school. After graduation, I joined the US ARMY where I spent two years with the 4th I.D. 3rd STB Military Police Platoon at Fort Carson, CO.
After my time in the ARMY, I got my feet wet in several different industries, including 3 ½ years as a Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Machinist, 3 years as a Veterinary Technician, and 4 years at Suddenlink working my way up as a Tech Support Supervisor. My time as a Vet Tech was cut short after a workplace accident that resulted in a broken tibia and fibula, however, I ultimately ended with an engagement and marriage to my wife.
Before my time started in the classroom, I spent 2 years as an Facilities Support Provider (FSP) here at the high school.
There is nothing I enjoy more, than watching students come into the shop afraid to use the power tools, and walking out at the end of the semester with a completed project and confidence. Having the opportunity to have all 4 grade levels in my class is truly a blessing, as I am able to build those relationships, and continue with them year after year.
When I am not in work mode, my favorite things to do, are spend time with my two daughters and wife, “relax” with our two boxers, bass fishing, and camping. I am heavily involved in bass tournaments in Lake Havasu, not only as a tournament director, but also as the Arizona State Student Angler Federation Youth Director.
