Pine Tree PTA Newsletter
April 2018
PRESIDENT'S POST
It may not seem like it now, but spring is here and the days are getting longer and outdoor activities will resume again (soon, we hope). After the winter lull, PTA kicks into high gear planning and organizing Pine Tree's many end of year events and activities. We also start looking ahead to the next school year, planning events and placing officers on the PTA Executive Board.
Our spring events require many volunteers and we can always use the help. Some upcoming PTA sponsored events that we will be seeking help, donations and/or volunteers for are Teacher Appreciation Week (May 7-11), Plant Sale (May 10-11), 5th Grade Picnic (May 25), Celebrating Capabilities Week (May 29 - June 1), and Field Day (June 12).
We are also seeking members of our PTA Executive Board. All positions are open. If you would like to serve on the PTA as an officer or as a committee chair, please complete the volunteer form and return it to the Greeter's Desk by April 13th. Our slate for the 2018-19 year will be announced on April 26th. A copy of the Recruitment Flyer can be found below.
Our last PTA Meeting of the year will be on Thursday, May 3 at 7 p.m. We will be electing our new slate of officers for the 2018-19 year and the district will be presenting on the school budget. Please mark it down and attend.
