9 Components of Digital Citizenship

Internet Safety

Plagiarism and Cheating
According to the Josephson Institute Center for Youth Ethics "One out of three high school students admitted that they used the Internet to plagiarize an assignment", which could have been stopped if teachers had taken the time when they were younger and encouraged them to make the right choices .Children need to understand that just because they find something on the internet they can not claim that they have written it. They need to locate the information on their own and write it down in a way that makes sense to them.
Here is a website that will help you as an educators and your students know the proper way to cite information that you locate online correctly.
