PK-2nd Gr. Literacy Night
We invite families of our PK through 2nd graders to join us for a Family Literacy Night on Thursday, March 21st from 6:30-7:30. YSES staff will be sharing how you can support your child at home with early literacy skills. All children in attendance will get to take home a FREE gently-used book from our book table. There will also be a mystery masked reader for the children to enjoy. We hope you can join us!
Attendance Updates
Our goal is 96% attendance or better. The calendar is color-coded for your ease of reference:
- 96% or higher = green
- 93.1% - 95.9% = yellow
- under 93% = red
We thank you for supporting us in meeting our attendance goals by ensuring students are coming to school on time and every day that they are able to!
Call for Books
If you have any very gently, used books in good condition that would appeal to students in PK through 2nd Gr., please bring them by YSES before March 20th and place them in the box in the lobby.
3rd through 5th grade families, please consider passing along some of the popular titles your child might have outgrown. Thank you!
Reminder - Dismissal Change Procedures
New this year, students must be picked up by 3:00 pm if you would like them through the front office. After that time, you will need to get into the Car Rider line to pick up your child. Thank you for your assistance in ensuring our dismissal process is as smooth as possible.
