OLMP Catholic School
Weekly Bulletin - June 7th, 2019
Last month of School
As we go into our last month of school for the 2018 - 2019 school year we want to remind students and parents about the important course work that still continues in classes. Be sure to review the exam schedule and important dates in this newsletter.
Along with the seriousness of completing our course work strong as we go into final exams, this is also a time of celebrating and fun. This week our grade 5's were on a field trip to Meeting Creek and our High School French students had a trip to Edmonton that included some time at The Crêperie. We also wish our Senior High Track athletes lots of luck as they are in Calgary this weekend participating in Track Provincial competitions.
Assurance Plans set for next school year!
For parents wanting to get more involved in school improvement we encourage you to connect with our Parent Council chair Kelly Frigon at frigonkaf@hotmail.com. Kelly along with the rest of the executive are in need of at least 4 more members to assist in the work of parent council for next school year. Please reach out if you have any interest or for more information. Your collaboration in working towards school improvement would be greatly appreciated.
Students who are interested in assisting in this work are encouraged to apply to be a school council rep in September for grade 5-8 and for those in grade 9-12 we encourage you to sign up for High School Leadership in the fall.
Along with having an updated school Assurance Plan for the coming school year our staff has also been working collaboratively to create a school motto (see image above).
