Safe Return to Schools: Important Update, August 31
On September 2nd, Chandler Unified announced plans for a safe and organized return to in-person learning, beginning with Chandler's youngest learners. It brings me great pleasure to welcome back our Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd Grades: In-person students return Monday, September 14, and 3rd-6th Grades: In-person students return Monday, September 21.
All of our staff have been preparing our campus and classroom for a safe return to in-person learning.
Below you will see a section titled "safety changes". Please review these changes that we are making in our procedures to keep students safe on our campus.
Have a wonderful 3 day weekend! I hope you get to enjoy some quality family time.
Mrs. Graham

West Gate and East Gate - Changes
- On the first day of school, the back West Gate and Side East Gate will not be open in the morning until students receive their dismissal tag.
- Students will only be able to enter and exit those gates with the appropriate tag.
- Parents will have to drive through pick up and drop off if your child doesn't have an East or West Gate tag.
- Students receive Gate tags tied to their residential address. Out of bound students, parents will have to come through pick up and drop off line.
We understand this will make our line larger, but safety is our Goal.
Parents Safety During Pick - Up
Our dismissal procedures are changing more to come.
Parents Before Students Return to School Please Practice the Following:
- Show your child/ren how to wear masks.
- Show Child/ren what social distancing looks like. Have them stick out an arm in front of them to learn about spacing. This will help when walking down the hallways and lining up for recess.
- How to fill a water bottle.
- How to open lunch items and lunch box.
