Technology resources/Recursos de tecnología
Staying informed about the technology that your child is using at school and at home is a critical part of parenting these days. We wanted to share two resources that can help you navigate appropriate and safe technology use with your student(s).
The first resource is from Common Sense Media. This free site has many informative options for parents and educators. It provides grade level digital citizen videos and lessons, lists of best and worst apps, and much, much more. This is an incredibly useful tool.
https://www.commonsensemedia.org
The second resource is directly from our District Technology Administrator, Susan Barnard. She hosted an "Engage" event for parents, and videotaped the link so all parents could watch it on their own time. The video is about 35 minutes in length, and provides some great insight into how parents can help their students' technology use.

Medication at School
Any medication brought into school must be in its original container with the students name on it. This includes any over the counter medications such as Cough drops, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc. Cough drops or pain meds MUST be age appropriate, for example: No adult Tylenol, etc. for children under 12 unless you have a doctor’s order for it.
In the case of prescription medication, it MUST be accompanied by the physician’s prescription. Medication is only administered at school if it is required DURING school hours. Parents must bring the medication to the office and fill out a Medication Administration Form in order for medicine to be dispensed to the student. A medication form must be completed for EACH medication left at school.
If you have any questions, please call the office at (503) 431-4600. Thank you!
