New Meal Sites Added!
Meal Sites as of Monday, March 23
*Meals will be served at the first nine locations (through and including Valley Meadows) on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20.
Meals will be served at ALL locations beginning Monday, March 23.*
About Meal Sites
- Meals are being served, rain or shine, in a grab-n-go style. In support of social distancing recommendations, children and families should not congregate at the meal sites.
- Children receiving meals must be brought to the meal site in accordance with this program's federal guidelines.
- Food Service staff is trained on proper food handling with additional cleaning and sanitizing precautions in place.
Keep Learning @ WCPS!
This situation is continually evolving. In preparation for the school closure to last beyond the initial two weeks, WCPS is planning to introduce additional options for students to continue learning on Monday, March 30. Look for more information about this initiative in the days ahead.
WCPS has a wide variety of digital and downloadable resources, including student textbooks, subscription content, standardized apps, interactive e-books, and other projects at Keep Learning @ WCPS.
WCPS understands there are families in our community who do not have internet access or devices. WCPS will also provide additional resources in hard copy form for students to continue learning.
If any families feel they are not able to access or use these resources to support their child's learning during the closure, the best option is to READ with them!
