We at BHA are excited to host our Islamic Studies Fair on April 26th 2024.
The fair aims to provide our middle school students with a unique platform to showcase their profound understanding of Islamic beliefs and practices. It's an opportunity for academic display as well as a platform for students to explore and share their creativity in delivering the message.
Here's a glimpse of what our students will be focusing on:
6th Grade: Our Lives & Salah In this segment, our sixth graders will delve into the significance of Salah (prayer) in our daily lives. Through creative presentations, they will illustrate the importance of this fundamental pillar of Islam.
7th Grade: Our Lives & the Qur’an Our seventh graders will explore the relationship between humans and the Qur'an. From its rights and virtues to the etiquettes of its recitation, students will share their insights into how the Qur'an shapes and enriches our lives.
8th Grade: Our Lives & the Sahabah The eighth-graders will spotlight the exemplary lives of the Sahabah and their importance in our lives.

Stay Home When Sick
We are seeing a surge of Flu cases in our school and the greater San Diego community. Students need proper rest and care when they are sick so please keep them home if they seem unwell in the morning. Symptoms include but are not limited to sore throat, cough, runny nose, congestion, headache, feeling lethargic or tired, and/or fever.
Students can return when symptoms have resolved and have been fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medicine!
Absences can be excused by emailing ag-admin@issdweb.org or cc-admin@issdweb.org for the respective campuses.
