Ground Beef is 90/10 and in 1 lb. vacuum package. Fantastic taste! Makes outstanding burgers on the grill or frying pan and delicious meatloaf or meatballs! 1 pound makes three extra large burgers or 4 regular sized! Very lean, do not overcook.
Roasts weights are noted in each listing. Perfect for slow cooker pot roast or smoking on the grill for bbq shredded beef - low and slow...

Restored Earth Farm News!
Sarah is excited to announce that Restored Earth Farm is now Certified Naturally Grown for Produce and Livestock! Her produce is amazing and now it's CNG! We are so proud to have her veggies on the market!
If you're not exactly sure what Certified Naturally Grown (CNG) means it's just a certification that farmers don’t use any synthetic herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, or genetically modified
organisms. CNG livestock are raised mostly on pasture and with space for freedom of
movement. Feed must be grown without synthetic inputs or genetically modified seeds. I personally think it's a better designation than certified organic mainly because farmers are reviewed by other farmers. Besides cost and the amount of paperwork, the other main difference to Certified Organic is process is completely transparent and open to the public. Every CNG producer has a profile on the CNG website. On it you will find the information they submitted in their application, as well as scanned images of their inspection reports and signed declaration. Click links below to see Restored Earth's inspection reports and applications.

Build out Update
Update: I'm still waiting on permit for bathroom that has been at the Fire Marshal's office for over a month. I've heard this is not unusual...but I have a friend checking on it for me and will try to move it along. With that being said, the move is delayed probably a couple more months. As soon as the bathroom is looking close to being done, I will have a more firm date for grand opening/ribbon cutting/dedication ceremonies. Until then I'm still doing stuff behind the scenes like the website. Creating a multi-vendor e-commerce website and moving over 700 products is taking longer than I expected... :-)
If you are a new member you may not know about this. Please check out this information about upcoming changes to the market. Please read letter below and/or watch video.

PLEASE HELP! Volunteers Needed at pick up!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We need 3 volunteers this Wed, 6/5 at 3pm and 5pm.
Since I'm not sure when the new store will open up I went ahead a created Volunteer schedule until August. Hopefully we'll be at new location sooner... Please click link below if you can help!
Please consider volunteering during market pick up. I can’t run the market without your help! Shifts are 1 hour long and go by really fast. It's a great opportunity to meet and help your fellow members!
Thank you Kelly, Grace, Gwen and Chuck for volunteering last Wednesday! We couldn't have the co-op without our amazing volunteers!!
If you are interested in volunteering but unsure exactly what that involves, please let Nora know and she will do a quick "volunteer orientation" with you on a day/time that you pick up.

1st Annual Health Freedom GA Picnic Potluck
June 2nd, THIS Sunday at 12 PM – 4 PM
Fullers Park
3499 Robinson Rd NE, Marietta, Georgia 30068
This is a family friendly event to recruit, network, inspire, & motivate others to get active in our Health Freedom GA group. My hope is that it will be a yearly potluck picnic. Please bring a dish or something to share if you'd like. There is a poll posted in the discussion part of this event showing what people are bringing if you'd like yo participate there.
We'll do fun things w/ the kids & break bread (gluten free of course) but, we'll also be putting our heads together on some action items as a group. Let's start some awareness campaigns here in GA!!
It looks like there may be charcoal grills there for us to use if someone wants to bring charcoal & things for grilling but, you can bring your own also. There is a playground & bathrooms available nearby. Alcohol is prohibited at this park.
Here's the FB event link as well: https://www.facebook.com/events/429464497613450/
Thank you,
Erika
