football started with rugby in te country of england of 1823. they played with 25 players on each team. they used their fist and feet to advance the ball. then organized football took place in the 1860s.

Bert bell- February 25, 1895- October 11, 1959
Bert played the postion of quarterback. He went to college at the University of Pennsylvania and The Haverford School.
George Halas- February 2, 1895- October 31, 1983
George played tight end and end. Halas was the iconic longtime leader of the NFL's Chicago Bears. HE got the nicknames "Papa Bear" and " Mr. Everything."
