DISTRICT WIDE SPIRIT WEEK IS COMING
"CHOOSE TO INCLUDE"
The Choose to Include campaign reminds students that when we give
others the chance to fulfill their dreams, everyone wins.
M.O.M.S SCHOOL WIDE IN-DISTRICT PRESENTATION:
"I'm Just a Kid with an IEP"
In honor of Choose to Include Week, the district will be hosting author and motivational speaker, Jordan Toma, who will be presenting “ I’m Just a Kid with an IEP” at the Mount Olive High School. This event will take place on March 18, 2024 from 9:30 - 10:45 am (7th & 8th grade) and 12:00PM-1:15PM (6th grade). All students in grades 6-8 are invited to attend. There is no cost for this trip.
We put the "I" in Kind thanks to PROJECT IMPACT
The students currently taking the Project Impact class decided to provide a unique take on the idea of being the "I" in K ND. The class worked in groups to create a visual display along the wall outside the cafeteria to promote kindness at MOMS. It's a neat way to allow anyone who walks by to take a picture under the dot and to literally be be the "I' in kind. The class worked in collaboration with art teacher, Ms. Carubia who provided them with supplies.
Congratulations to our February Students of the Month!
SPRING SPORTS ARE COMING

A new physical is required every 365 days, and an UPDATE form must be filled out if a physical wasn’t completed 60 days before the start of the season.
MOMS will not be hosting physicals, it is asked that all physicals be performed by the family’s physician.
