St. Libory School
Weekly Newsletter - August 16, 2016
It's a great day to be an educator!
This is the first edition to this year's weekly newsletter. I have plans to send one of these flyers home every Tuesday. To help save paper I will be sharing the newsletter via email, twitter and link it to our St. Libory School website. We will only be sending it home with one family member, either the youngest or only children in our building will get a printed copy.
I'll do my best to provide important information for that time of year. Please make plans to look for the newsletter every week and take the time to look it over. Communication is a huge key to success and I'll do what I can to provide the information needed to you as a parent.
It is a privilege to be your child's principal and I do not take the responsibility lightly. If you ever have questions, please contact the office or your child's teacher.
Sincerely - Mr. Herzberg
The Importance of Breakfast!
Please make sure you take 5 minutes each morning and make sure your kids get something to eat before heading to school. Our K-3 kids will eat at 11:00 each day and and our 4th -8th grade kids will eat at 11:35 each day. We are eliminating the morning 'snack' for all 1st - 3rd grade kids. This will help increase the instructional time your child will receive each day. Thanks - Mr. Herzberg
School Pictures this Thursday
Jr. High Athletics begin this week.
7th and 8th Grade Football starts this week.
8th Grade checkout is today the 16th. 7th Grade checkout is Thursday the 18th and the first practice begins on Friday the 19th after school. Please remember we need you, as parents, to pick up your son at Northwest High School each night.
7th and 8th Grade Volleyball starts Monday, August 22!
The first volleyball practice will be held on Monday, August 22nd at Chapman. Their will be a short parent meeting following practice that evening. Please plan on picking your daughter up each night at Chapman.
All athletes will be transported to practice each night. We do need you to pick them up each night at the end of practice. Your son or daughter must have their physical on file at the high school activities office.
Thanks!
