CLUB NEWS
Spanish Club
On October 13th, members of the Spanish Club enjoyed an afternoon of painting pumpkins and pizza. The next activity will be Wednesday, November 2nd. We will be creating and decorating a mask for Día de los Muertos. Spanish Club members should sign-up by Tuesday, November 1st with their Spanish teacher.
Art Club
FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)
The Raider FCA gathered during October for a student-led devotional where Vice-President, Justin Reed, led a small group of members through a discussion on scripture as it relates to daily life. We also distributed our 2016-2017 "FCA Strong" t-shirts designed by President, Harrison Steckler, to nearly 80 members who purchased them to show their Raider FCA pride. We watched a short video by Cy Young Pitcher Clayton Kershaw who provided a witness to his faith and the impact it's had on his life. In a couple weeks, we look forward to hearing from guest speaker, Steve Connor, who will be visiting us from Bloomington, Indiana where he serves as chaplain for the IU football team. Needless to say, the Raider FCA is rolling!
