Please ensure students bring:
their fully charged laptop and headphones with traditional plug-in jack that connects with their computer (no bluetooth allowed).
a photo ID. Students can bring their school or state ID for identification purposes.
Students not testing on April 9th or 10th will start their school day at 11:35am. Bus pick-up will be 4 hours later than normal. Lunch will be available for purchase to students arriving on campus.

LOS LOBOS FOLKLORICO
Chandler High's "Los Lobos" student dancers were invited to perform at Intel for President Joe Biden's Chip Act announcement! Among them, Trinity and Naomi, both active in ROTC, seized the opportunity to interview Secret Service personnel and explore career options. The students met influential White House dignitaries and were accorded VIP treatment, making for an unforgettable experience.

CHS 9th grader, Jacob Ezolt will be traveling to Vienna, Austria this summer to compete in the 3rd International Geography Championship! Check out Jacob's story at the link below.
CHANDLER FFA
Chandler High FFA students taught 125 Hartford Elementary 1st graders about the importance of agriculture. Students learned that cattle produces methane gas, which turns into electricity. Students played "Chicken Poop Bingo" while determining the anatomy of a chicken. In the pig presentation, the Hartford students gained knowledge on animal by-products and that glycerin is in our lotions, make-up, and toothpaste. Students were interested in facts about goats and sheep and how they can help fertilize our grass.

Presidential Honors Scholarship (Must have a Maricopa student account to apply):
Presidential Scholarship:
High-achieving, recent high school students have the opportunity for a deeply enriching college experience in the CGCC Honors Program.
The scholarship pays for full-time tuition for up to 15 credit hours (plus the $15 registration fee) per semester for up to four consecutive semesters.

Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for the Presidents’ Honors Scholarship, you must:
- Graduate from a high school in Maricopa County
- Have a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.25 or higher
- Start at CGCC within 3 academic semesters (not including summers) of high school graduation without attending another college in between (not including concurrent enrollment, dual enrollment, and summer session)
- Reside in Maricopa County while on scholarship
You will need a Maricopa MEID log in and a copy of your unofficial transcript to be able to upload with the scholarship application.

- Navigate to your student's infinite campus> Log in> Documents> Unofficial Transcript> Download the document> Have it available to upload to the form when prompted.

Chandler High School (CHS) Care Closet is your community partner all school year long.
The CHS Care Closet has: school clothes, school supplies, hygiene products, food items, and small home good items, and is accepting additional donations of non-perishable food and snack items as well as hygiene products such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, shaving cream, etc.

- Please remember to call in absences. Calling in absences ahead of time helps the attendance office update student attendance records. You can call in absences by leaving a message at 480-812-7703
- If you need to speak with an attendance tech, please leave a message and they will return your call.
- If a student is leaving early, they must be signed out by a parent/guardian.
