Assessing Students with I-Ready
We have been assessing students using a diagnostic test called I-Ready. This test will be given three times over this school year (Fall, winter and spring) and it is given district wide. This assessment will provide teachers with an excellent starting point to determine the best ways to support all students and customize a learning path for progress. The diagnostic will also tailor and differentiate I-Ready lessons based on their results. It is recommended that students complete 60-100 minutes weekly. Here is more info from Curriculum Associates, this will give you more details on the test. IReady Info for Parents.
Things to do for the I-ready assessment
- Make sure that your child gets enough sleep to be at his/her best during the test
- Make sure that your child knows that this assessment is super important to carve a pathway for support throughout the year.
- Be here daily and be on time
- Don't give up, do your best! This assessment is adaptive and will be adjusted to your child's level.

IReady Info for Parents.
- ¡No te rindas, haz tu mejor esfuerzo!
