OCS Digital Learning Video Update
Parent Updates
- Thank you, parents, for your timely feedback regarding our distance/digital learning platform and processes. We are utilizing your feedback along with the feedback from the DL Teachers and schools to make changes and improvements for our students.
- Currently, the DL Teachers are participating in professional learning days to work on the Quarter 2 pacing and curriculum within Accelerate Education.
- Please make sure to complete the 2nd Quarter Instructional Commitment Form, if you have not done so. The deadline is TODAY (9/18). This information is vital for the preparation of the curriculum, materials, and staffing that compliment the Accelerate Education platform.
- For timely feedback on assignments, please make sure to submit your work to the correct assignment within Accelerate Education. This streamlines the grading process for our DL Teachers.

DL Student "Shoutouts"
Each week we will highlight a few students who are exhibiting great work and effort.
Ruchi C., Jiho H., & Luke M. from Mrs. Babkin's Class
"Ruchi is so hardworking. She turns in high quality work and always responds to feedback. I love seeing her face in synchronous sessions!
Jiho really shines in synchronous sessions. We have been doing number talks, and he always shares great ideas.
Luke is on top of things! He turns in high quality work on time. Dad is also doing a great job leading him at home."
Stefan K. from Mrs. Whitehead's Class
"Stefan has been keeping right on track since the beginning of the year. He has set a good schedule for his school day and that shows his commitment to learning. Way to go, Stephan!"
Sophia M. from Ms. Boucher's Class
"Sophia did an amazing job improving a volcanologist's suit. She even included different colors in her lava to represent the different temperatures experienced."
