The Diversity Festival is coming soon
Liberty Public District is proud to be hosting the3rd Annual Diversity Festival celebrating many of the cultures and diversities that make up our community.
- Admission is FREE! Come join us on November 8th, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at Liberty North High School, for appetizers, music, exhibits and activities for all ages.
Attendance matters...
Please call 816.736.5470 if your child will miss school for any reason.
- If your child will be absent or late for any reason, please be sure to call Mrs. Straws in our attendance office.
- Please call as soon as possible in the morning, or even the day before, you need your child dismissed early for the day.
- If your student is absent from class without a phone call, they will be marked Unverified (UNV). Unresolved Unverified absences could result in a school consequence.
Graduating? Here's some helpful stuff happening at MCC-Maple Woods:
- November 14th -- FAFSA Completion Event, 2-6pm
- December 12th -- FAFSA Completion Event, 2-6pm
- January 22nd -- FAFSA Frenzy, 2-6pm
- February 7th -- A+ Information Night, 6-7:30pm
FAFSA Frenzy and Completion events are for ANY student, planning on attending ANY post-secondary school. Bring your 2017 W-2 and tax information to apply for the 2019-2020 FAFSA and utilize the free assistance available in completing the application!

Federal Deadline
Online applications must be submitted by midnight Central Time, June 30, 2019. Any corrections or updates must be submitted by midnight Central Time, September 14, 2019.
State Deadline
Missouri - February 1, 2018 . For priority consideration, submit application by date specified. Applications accepted through April 2, 2018, by midnight, Central Time. Awards made until funds are depleted
College Deadline
Check with the college(s) you are interested in attending. You may also want to ask your college about its definition of an application deadline - whether it is the date the college receives your FAFSA, or the date your FAFSA is processed.
Liberty Community Christmas Tree
The Liberty Community Christmas Tree program helps families in the Liberty area who need assistance with food and gifts during the holiday season.
Applications to receive assistance will be accepted
October 8th - November 9th.

Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
