PRAIRIE POST
March 12, 2021
Message from the Principal
Hello Prairie Friends & Families,
We wrapped up an awesome two weeks of celebrating Read Across America today! This week we read with an engineer, our Superintendent, and our Director of Educator Development & Equity! We watched recorded videos of teachers reading some excellent books. Our book raffle winners from this week are all smiles below.
We enjoyed meeting with many families for virtual conferences this week. Our second night of conferences is March 24th. If you haven't signed up for a virtual conference yet, please see this document to sign up! We look forward to celebrating all of the progress each of our learners has made!
We are Team Prairie!
We are stronger together!
Carly Solberg
Principal

PANERA NIGHT: Monday, March 15th from 4-8 p.m. Flyer needed to get credit for Prairie PTA.
GOT SNEAKERS FUNDRAISER: Thank you to all of those who have already donated shoes to our fundraiser. As spring cleaning is starting up remember this is an ongoing fundraiser so keep searching for shoes! Did you know that your gently worn sneakers could help Prairie PTA? Prairie PTA is participating in a fundraiser where you donate your shoes. All we need is your support and your gently worn, used ,or new sneakers! Here’s how you can help. Start in your and your family’s closets and gather as many pairs of sneakers that you no longer want; maybe you’ve out-grown them, they’re out of style, or out of season. If you and your household have 20 pairs, great! If not, don’t worry. You can ask your neighbors, friends, co-workers, and anyone in your social networks to help out. Every pair counts! The sneakers that we all collect will help raise money to support Prairie PTA AND will help our environment by keeping sneakers out of landfills.
SCRIP: Did you know e-gift cards can be purchased at anytime to benefit our school? From the convenience of your phone using the RaiseRight app, cards can be purchased and are available for use within your "wallet" within minutes of purchase. With the Panera night approaching in March, please consider signing up for the RaiseRight app to purchase e-cards and start earning today. Panera cards offer an 8% rebate!
