Message from the Principal
Hello parents,
As we head into Mother's Day weekend, here is a brief update:
The top five graduating seniors for the Class of 2018 were honored at a banquet on Monday night. They acquitted themselves well and were great representatives of Woodbury High School. You can see a picture from the evening below.
The spring concerts for both the Junior and Senior High school programs were this week. As always, our student performers were magnificent. Kudos to everyone involved!
Students of the Month were selected by teachers for displaying academic excellence and superior character. Congratulations are extended both to them and to their families!
The students who were chosen:
6 - Gavyn Reyes
6 - Sanayah Marshall
7 - Lateisha Taylor
7 - Avery LaCroix
8 - Nicole Hunter
8 - Jayson Lymon
9 - Hailey Hartwyk
10 - Mia Upchurch
11 - Briana Lucha
12 - Nicholas Arrison
AP testing got underway for many of our students. These tests are the culmination of countless hours of coursework, preparation, and complex thinking for our students. They came to the assessments well prepared by a highly knowledgeable and supremely talented staff of AP teachers. Good luck to all!
On Thursday of next week, Junior High students will be treated to a Career Day. Professionals from many different fields will come in to speak to our middle school students about the realities of the working world. On Friday of next week, high school students will be attending the promenade and prom. We can't wait to see everyone at this seminal high school experience!
Enjoy your weekends!
Keep Love Present,
Dr. Vivadelli

Attention 8th grade Parents (Reminder from Last Week)
8th grade promotion materials were sent home with students. Each student signed off on receipt of their allotment of three tickets for the ceremony. We understand that only having three tickets is an inconvenience for some families, but it is the only equitable way to guarantee enough space for the close family of all students. In addition to the tickets, students received a letter with logistical details and a permission slip. Please contact the Junior High office for any inquiries other than needing additional tickets; there are no more to give out!
