PHYSICAL SCIENCE
Mrs. Shrout's classes are a little behind Mr. Knipe's classes. Mrs. Shrout's classes will be completing their Operation Save Humpty Dumpty Build Project this week. Mr. Knipe's classes will moving onto the next unit of study.
Objectives being taught:
6-8.ps2.a.1Apply physics principles to design a solution that minimizes the force of an object during a collision and develop an evaluation of the solution.
6-8ps2B3 Conduct an investigation and evaluate the experimental design to provide evidence that electric and magnetic fields exist between objects exerting forces on each other even though the objects are not in contact.
The schedule below is for Mr. Knipe's classes. Mrs. Shrout's will complete the Operation Save Humpty Dumpty this week.
Monday: Pre-Test: Review electric and magnetic forces
Tuesday: Students plan and conduct an investigation that gives evidence of electric and magnetic fields.
Wednesday: Day 2 of planning and conducting
Thursday: Magnetic Forces information
Friday: Balloon races
Working with a partner to describe situations using Newton's Laws of Motion
How does Newton's 1st Law explain why this happens.
