Tigers Grow their Own
As an alumni, Mr. Oderson Cadeus, ESOL Success Coordinator, recently received his Master's in Guidance Counseling from Florida Atlantic University. He knows what it is like to navigate high school while learning a new language. He was 16 years old in 2004 when he moved to the U.S. from Haiti. He graduated from BBCHS in 2008 and made it his mission to help other students succeed.
Warmly known as Mr. Odie around campus, he said, "Our students, especially our Haitian students, were my motivation. I set the bar really high for them--if I can do it, they can do it too. No excuses!"
Congrats Mr. Odie!
