Boys' State Program- Junior Boys
Junior boys, the Boys’ State program, founded in 1935, is a selective summer program for students finishing their junior year. This competitive program is a great opportunity to develop leadership skills, build your resume, and meet other high achieving students from around the state. All of the programs are free. Representatives from the American Legion will interview all candidates on a Zoom call and select the final representatives. Pick up an application and brochure from the counseling office and return by February 24. Interviews will take place February 25 at 2:00. Girls' State and Junior Law Cadet Programs have been cancelled this year.
2020-2021 Yearbooks
Don’t miss out on your chance to order your full-color 2021 Yearbook for your student! You can reserve your copy for $75 until April 15, 2021. You can order online at yearbookforever.com or send cash or check to Mr. Rohacik in room 307. Please contact Mr. Rohacik at joseph.rohacik@plcschools.org with any questions. An order form is attached below.
Please note: The PLHS Yearbook is a “fall delivery” book. Students will pick up their books at registration in August 2021. This allows for a book that can document the ENTIRE school year, including spring sports/activities, Prom (hopefully!) & graduation.
