It is never to early to start looking for scholarships
Tips for students:
- Search for scholarships.
- Make an electronic folder and keep the information that you will need to fill out scholarships in it. This will include your transcript, a letter that introduces yourself and tells about your future plans, and a list of references.
- Begin filling out scholarships now. Do not wait until the deadline is looming. You want to be able to spend time completing the application and gathering the necessary documentation.
- Official transcripts usually need to be sent from the school. Email rbear@benton.k12.ia.us and provide the information she will need to submit your official transcript.
- Remember, every dollar that you receive is one that you will not have to either pay out of pocket or finance and pay at a later date.
