Mrs. Haas' Third Grade News
May 15, 2016
Thank you all for a wonderful school year. I've enjoyed learning with and learning from your kiddos each day. They walked in my classroom in August as sweet little third graders, and they leave me in May as mature soon to be fourth graders. It seems as if each year goes by faster and faster, and this school year seems like a blur to me. I hope that your kiddo had as much fun as I did!
Event Information
Kansas City Zoo Field Trip
We are keeping our fingers crossed that the rain leaves the forecast for Tuesday, and we can enjoy a day at the Kansas City Zoo. Our plan is to leave PSE around 9:15 and return around 2:00. Please be sure to have your child dressed for the weather. It looks like it might be a chilly day. Your child will need a sack lunch. Please do not send any lunchboxes or items that need to be returned after we eat. We will throw all items away after lunch. Have your child wear their yellow shirt for the last time!

School Supply Donations
My younger sister is a fourth grade teacher at Eugene Ware Elementary in the Kansas City, Kansas school district. Many of her students come to school each year with out school supplies, backpacks, or the money to purchase these items. As we clean out our desks this week, I will have boxes for students to donate their gently used and unused supplies from the year. Students can absolutely bring home their supplies for home use if you would like. You might discuss with your third grader what you would prefer they do with their supplies. Thanks in advance for helping out her classroom!
Farewell Breakfast
Thank you for signing up so quickly for our Friday Farewell Breakfast. All slots are filled, Don't forget to send in your item with your third grader on Friday.
