Theodore Roosevelt had very good leadership. He did what he thought was best for the country. Before he was a president he was a Lieutenant in the Spanish- American war. Where he lead the charge of the battles. He was very passionate about the environment. Even though he liked to hunt he knew that people needed to preserve and conserve the land and resources. He created many laws and acts helping conserve the environment.

Theodore Roosevelt contributed a lot during his presidency. He created the pure food and drug act which helped the canned food become healthier. He was also changed the governments relationships with big businesses. He believed that not only should big business have opportunists but also smaller business should get those too. The major thing he did was create the panama canal. He created the canal so boats and ships could get to the Atlantic ocean to the Pacific faster.

Many people admired him while he was president. But most big business men did not like his political views because Theodore thought that there should be a balance in big and small businesses. The public liked how he always did what he thought was best for the country. They also liked how environmental he was and how he wanted to preserve it.

Theodore passed many bills and laws while in office. His big bill that he passed was the Square deal. Which was Theodore's plan for reform. Theodore's other big law that passed was the Pure food and drug act. Which banned the manufacture, sale, or transportation of impure of falsely labeled. Theodore did a lot to change and make this country better.

Taft had a hard time living up to Theodore Roosevelt's legacy during his presidency. Taft did not like being in the spotlight. He did not do very many interviews or photos. Taft did not like making decisions and usually procrastinated making them. That was probably the biggest reason the people did not have faith in him as a president. Most of the big laws and bills Theodore made were starting to reverse while Taft was in office.

Taft was more of a lad back guy. He mostly allowed his cabinet members to do whatever they wanted. Despite those draw backs he still got a lot of bills passed. One of his bigger bills was Dollar Diplomacy. Which encouraged the United states banks and business to invest abroad. And shockingly he did more to reform monopolies than Roosevelt did.

While in office Taft was a very grumpy and depressed person. He did not like being president. He not would of run but his wife persuaded him to. So to help his depression he ate more and more. So while he was in office he gained over 100 pounds. His cabinet member did what ever they wanted to because Taft was very lenient about his members.

Even though Taft was not the best president he did pass some big important laws or bills. He created the Federal reserve act and which created and established a federal reserve system. Taft also created the Federal trade commission act. This allowed the government to search within industries and locate monopolies. Even though he did create some great bills he was slowly reversing Theodore's hard work.
Woodrow Wilson
About Woodrow Wilson
Woodrow Wilson was born on December 28, 1856 in Staunton, Virginia. He died on February 3, 1924 in Washington D.C. Woodrow Wilson served as the 28th president of the United States. Wilson was an american politician and academic. He was the only president to have a PHD. His biggest asset in the presidency was his speeches. He was known for writing and giving very powerful speeches. He ran for president in 1916 as a Democrat.

Some Americans saw him as a cold and distant man. But some Americans believed very strongly in Wilson's beliefs. During the war the people relied on his views. But his plan for neutrality failed. But the people still stayed behind him. Wilson believed everyone should have peace and safety.

Woodrow Wilson accomplished many strides during his presidency. His biggest one is signing the treaty of Versailles ending world war l. Also he passed the 19th amendment which allowed women to vote. And the federal reserve system was established. He also did a tariff reduction.

Many people admired Woodrow and how academic he was. During the cabinet meets he let other people talk and listened to everyone's opinions. He thought that everyone's opinions were valued. But the public saw him as more of a distant and cold man. His favorite thing was giving speeches. The speeches were more of his strong suit in his presidency.

Wilson made huge impacts on history. He allowed women to vote because of the 19th amendment. It changed. That amendment changed the world for women suffrage. He established tariff reductions, banking reform, and foreign policy. He also ended world war l because of a treaty.
