Julia Green Library Happenings
September 2022
Dear Families:
We have been very busy in the library this month. Kindergarten through third grade students participated in their first digital citizenship lesson of the year. Kindergarten students also focused on learning how to use the library and what it means to be a risk-taker which is our IB word for September. First graders also learned about being a risk-taker and completed a STEM project. Second graders learned about the origin of their names and created a PowerPoint using the information they researched on their region of the United States. Third graders conducted research on an aquatic biome and created posters. Fourth graders were eager to checkout books daily during their open checkout times and on Limitless Libraries. Enjoy reading more about what we have accomplished during the month of September and what is to come in October like our in person Scholastic Book Fair! Get excited!!!!
