Day 1
Welcome Orientation at the Winston-Salem Visitor Center in the historic Brookstown Mill Complex. Enjoy complimentary coffee and fresh, hot Krispy Kream doughnuts while learning some fun facts about our quaint "twin city" and how it got it's hyphenated name.
Tour Old Salem Museums and Gardens, one of America's most authentic, historical attractions. Visitors learn about the lives of men, women and children living in Salem during the 18th and 19th centuries.
Lunch at the Tavern at Old Salem where dishes are inspired by the Moravian famiies living in Salem in the 19th century.
Check into the Hawthrone Inn Hotel and Conference Center.
Rest and Relax
Dinner on your own at Hawthorn or one of the many restraurants in the Downtown area.

Day 2: Sept. 22, 2015 Visit Historic Sites
Breakfast
Tour Reynolda House, Gardens and Village which was the estate of tobacco baron, R.J. Reynolds and his wife, Kathern and houses some of the finest collections of American art in the Southeast. Stroll through the gardens, and shop at some of the small boutiques.
Visit the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA) which consistantly exhibits the most innovative and cutting edge art from national and international artist.
Lunch at nearby restraurant
Visit Korner's Folly which is the architectural wonder and home of Gilmer Korner and displays his unique original furnishings and artwok.
Return to Hotel for rest and relaxation.
Visit Downtown restraurants and night life.
Day 3: Sept. 23, 2015 Food and Winery Tour
Breakfast at the original Krispy Kreame restraurants where you can observe the doughnuts coming right off the coveyer belt.
Tour Mrs. Hanes' Handmade Moravian Cookies Factory and Shop. See the "artists" in aprons at work as they hand -roll, hand-cut, and hand-package Moravian cookies.
Visit Shallowford Farms Popcorn, Inc. a family business that grows, harvests and pops popcorn. This is the only popcorn factory east of the Mississippi.
Lunch at Childress Vineyard one of the most impressive wineries in the southeast.
Tour Small Batch Beer Company, Winston-Salem's first and only nano brewery which brews unique beers one barrel at a time.
Day 4: Sept. 24, 2015 Road Trip to Asheville, NC
Breakfast
Today we will visit one of the most beautiful regions of North Carolina. Nestled in the scenic mountains of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville is famous for its arts and crafts, site seeing and musical festivals. Here we will visit the famous Biltmore Estate , a large private estate and tourist attraction. Biltmore House, the main house on the estate, is a Châteauesque-styled mansion built by George Washington Vanderbilt between 1889 and 1895 and is the largest privately owned house in the United States, at 178,926 square feet of floor space. Still owned by one of Vanderbilt's descendants, it stands today as one of the most prominent remaining examples of the Gilded Age. In 2007, it was ranked eighth in America's Favorite Architecture by the American Institute of Architects. The Biltmore house and Estates including a dairy and vineyard covers must of the southeast area of Asheville.
Day 5: Sept 25, 2015 Shop til you Drop
Visit and shop at the Famous Hanes Mall. Hanes Mall is the largest mall on the east coast. All the well know stores are located here.
Lunch at Mall
Early Dinner, Rest and prepare for bus pick up at 9:30 to depart for Airport.
