Anasazi Kindness Project
This month's IB Learner Profile Attribute is CARING.
“We show empathy, compassion and respect. We have a commitment to service, and we act to make a positive difference in the lives of others and in the world around us.”
We are encouraging the students to take action and participate in our Anasazi Kindness Project. Please talk to your children about the ways they can show kindness at school, at home, and in the community. We will be documenting the students' acts of kindness to see how many we can complete in August. If your child is kind at home, try to capture it with a photo and send it to his or her teacher to be displayed.
Action is a key element of the IB PYP philosophy.
“Through taking individual and collective action, students come to understand the responsibilities associated with being internationally-minded and to appreciate the benefits of working with others for a shared purpose.”
