Who is a United States Citizen
A united states citizen is somebody who has rights, duties, and responsibilities that comes along with living in the United States.
How to become a U.S. citizen!
You can become a citizen by completing one of the following things:
- Go though the Naturalization process if you're over 18
- If you're under 18, one of your parents can be naturalized, and you automatically become a citizen
- If you're born in the U.S., you are automatically guaranteed citizenship
**If you want to be naturalized, you must live in the U.S. legally for 5 years, or 3 if you're married to a U.S. citizen, before you can apply for naturalization.
The power someone has with the "Office of Citizen"
You have the power to vote, the power to hold elected office, and the power of communicating with your elected officials through E-mail, mail, etc.

Some of our rights include;
- The right to vote
- The freedom of speech
- The right to practice any religion
- The right to a fair trial
- The right to hold and vote for elected office
- Obeying the law
- Defending the nation
- Serving on a jury, or as a witness
- Paying taxes
- Attending school, if you're under 18
- Working towards the common good¹
- Voting
- Holding government office
- Participating in election campaigns
- Influencing government
- Serving the community
