Upcoming Events for Seniors!
West Ada Device Maintenance
Our district IT department regularly updates district devices. For this reason, we recommend that students restart their devices at least once per week to ensure that updates are installed.
Parent-Teacher Communication 📃 📓🖍
There are multiple ways students and parents can contact teachers. You can contact teachers by email, through Teams chat, and our latest digital tool Remind. We recommend that students check their email at least once each morning and once each afternoon to ensure they are receiving information from their teachers.
Parents/guardians, please make sure your contact information in PowerSchool is recent and up to date. This is the information teachers will use to contact you. If you need help accessing your PowerSchool account, please contact our IT Help Desk at (208) 350-5300 between the hours of 7:15a.m. and 3:15p.m.
Counselor Information
Ms. Freeney has been with WASD for 19 years. We are excited to have her join our team. If you have questions about your schedule, please send her an email to say hello.
Edgenuity Parent Reports
We have enabled a feature in Edgenuity that will send parents/guardians a weekly progress report. It will be sent to the email address that is listed in PowerSchool. Click on the link below to learn about the information that is contained in this progress report.
Understanding the Edgenuity Student Progress Report
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Additionally, parents/guardians have the ability to create an account in Edgenuity's Parent Portal so that you can log in any time to see a snapshot of your student's grades and progress. This requires additional information and setup. If you are interested in setting up a parent account in Edgenuity, please fill out the form below and we will send you the required information.
*Note: The Edgenuity Progress Reports and Parent Portal serve as ways to view student progress, but PowerSchool grades are the official grades for students.

VSH Attendance Policy
Please read through the VSH Student Handbook to better understand the attendance policy for the 2023-2024 school year. Attendance is based upon progress in class. Students should be doing a minimum of 3% of the curriculum daily or a minimum of 15% of the curriculum each week to be present in class.
