Discuss and Consider Potential Public Notification Criteria for Assessing School Threats
Jeff Holmes, Superintendent of Schools, provided information surrounding policies, protocols, and procedures for public notification of school threats; the Board directed that the Policy Committee take up the topic; compile policies from other districts and potentially present a policy for board approval that allows enough transparency and parental notification yet protects parental rights and student record confidentiality in alignment with the Federal Educational Records Protection Act (FERPA), WI student records statutes, and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA); click here for more details.

Chad Trowbridge, Executive Director of Business Services & Finance, provided an overview of the 2024 roof replacement project at the high school; the Board awarded the 2024 roof replacement project to Pioneer Roofing with a Base Bid in the amount of $497,839.00; click here for more details.

2024-2025 Student Representative Application and Interview Process
President Czech provided information about the 2024-2025 student representative application and interview process to remind the Board that they will need to determine how to move forward with determining who will be next year's student representative.
2024-2025 Staffing and Budget Update
Chad Trowbridge, Executive Director of Business Services & Finance, provided an update on the 2024-2025 staffing and budget timeline. A preliminary staffing and budget plan will be provided to the Board at the March regular board meeting.
District Support/Classified/Hourly Staff Compensation Study Update
Jennifer Starck, Interim Executive Director of Human Resources & Public Relations, provided an update on the support/classified/hourly staff compensation study.
2nd Friday in January Pupil Count
Chad Trowbridge, Executive Director of Business Services & Finance, provided an overview of the 2nd Friday in January pupil count
Sue Kern, Executive Director of Curriculum & Instruction, provided an update on the mandated ACT 20 staff training that will begin this school year.
