Library News
Jackson Keller Elementary
End of December
December is one of my favorite months in the library. Dressing up like an elf will never get old! We also get to experience the Hour of Code week. Students love to experience coding, and they learn so much. We were lucky this year because USAA sent virtual volunteers to help our students with the coding activities. It is great that they get to connect with members of our community. I hope everyone has an amazing holiday and that everyone is healthy when we welcome 2021.
You are invited to come visit the NEISD Library StoryWalk® Project located in the side parking lot. This is an opportunity to enjoy reading and exercising with your child at the same time! Each story will be presented on banners that stretch along the fence. Follow the signs in order, reading and enjoying the story together. Bring your cell phone so that you can take a picture of the last sign, scan the QR code to let us know you visited, and look up some fun activities to do together at home. Stories will change every few weeks, so check back often! Happy Reading!
