S'more Thinking = S'more Learning...at Grandview!
Mission Statement: Honor the Past, Nurture the Present, Prepare for the Future!
Dear Families,
We surely hope Spring has found its way here! Looks like the weekend will be beautiful!
The MStep testing window for Grades 5 has started. Our 5th graders took two tests this week, and have the last two tests next week. They continue to amaze us with their dedication, work, and seriousness they show during testing! Next week, 5th grade tests on Tuesday and Wednesday. Attendance and timeliness on these days are extra important!
Our Spring sports program is ready to take off soon! A special thanks to the coaches for their dedication and organization. I am looking forward to catching a game! Healthy Kids CLub (HKC) is starting Monday! Thanks to Mrs. Rhines for her leadership and her love for all things healthy. We learn a lot from her!
Thank you for sending your greatest gift to us - your children. GO MUSTANGS!
In Partnership,
Michelle Barsh and staff

Spring Clean-Up
Spring is FINALLY starting to show itself! Birds are starting to sing & flowers are starting to poke through the ground. Along with the lovely and welcome flowers, the unwelcome and dreaded weeds are poking through as well. Please get your gardening tools and green thumbs ready for our Spring Clean-Up! We will chose and announce a date when we are more confident in the weather.

Way to go Grandview! We’ve surpassed 78,000 Roo Points! Our next major milestone goal is 100,000 Roo Points ($200)! Keep shopping & scanning, we’ll hit 100,000 in no time!
You don’t have Shoparoo? It’s easy, just grab your phone, download the FREE app, scan your receipts & watch the Roo Points add up! GRANDVIEW HIGHLIGHTS!
Each month, we meet as a school community and learn a new character trait.
April focus = Integrity
Ask you child!
Mustang of the Week/Mustang of the Month
Teachers are choosing a student each week to honor!! Students are chosen based on teacher recommendation: student progress, effort, improvement, character, grit, citizenship, and more.
Principal's Breakfast
Mustangs of the Week are invited to the Mustang of the Month Principal's Breakfast!
We have honored 230 plus students this year!
Horseshoe Heroes
Students are working on living the character trait of the month. When students live their trait, teachers are catching them being a 'Horseshoe Hero' and are rewarding with a sticker on their individual horseshoe. When the students fill their horseshoe with the lucky number of 13 stickers, they are honored as a 'Horseshoe Hero' at the next Mustang Assembly.
