We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light. —Plato

The Smalls
The Junior Scouts & Stuart Littles
This month we will be working on using gentle hands with our friends. We will be continuing with color and shape recognition and reviewing our letter friends. We are excited about our future art, sensory and science projects. We have a lot to be thankful for this month! Don't forget ornaments with grandparents is coming up so let them know so we can start getting a head count.
The Scouts & Stuarts
This month we are working on using our listening ears and following our daily routine. We will be continuing reviewing all our shapes and starting to work on letter and number recognition. We have started putting together our names at table time and learning what each letter is. We will be doing some super cool experiments, art work, and sensory activities.
Sawyers
Happy Holidays!! The month we will be doing lots of festive things for the holidays!! We will be working a lot on fine motor and getting back in gear for preschool first goals!! We are still continuing to work hard on taking care of our classroom and putting items away when we are done playing with them. We're also doing a big push on using are math terms this month along with washing our hands and sneezing/coughing into our elbows. They have been doing pretty awesome with their listening ears and following directions. This month, we will have several fun experiments and open ended art activities.

Healthy Start Wisdom
Healthy Start
Miss Leandra's favorite dish for Thankgiving is Fresh Green beans!! She loves to cook green beans with bacon but that's not so healthy unfortunately. She found this recipe that she is super excited to try this Thanksgiving. Green beans and cheddar...what could be better?

The Parent's Spotlight!
Would you like to donate?
We could use:
- Glitter glue
- Scrap paper
Is there ever a time when you say to youreself, " I wonder if The Tot Spot would want this"? We could use it in so many ways. You may have babies, but the whole school is yours. Everything can turn into a sensory activity or learning experience. So, before you throw out your junk, ask your teacher if it could be used.
The Teacher's Spotlight!
What mythical creature do you wish actually existed and why?
Ms. LeAndra: Mermaids of course!! Anyone who knows me knows I love Ariel!!
Ms. Corrine: Dragons because it'd be cool to ride a dragon
Ms. Emily: A unicorn because... “it’s so fluffy, I’m gonna die!”
Ms. Jacanda: Mermaids of course! Because how cool would it be if ‘The little Mermaid’ was real? We would need to know their amazing make up tips because they are picture perfect under water of course!
Mr. Mike: Unicorns, Lela loves unicorns.
Ms. Stacey: Trolls and Fairies. Who wouldn't want to walk through the woods and get lost in that world?
Ms. Danielle: Dragons! For obvious reasons. Coolest things ever.
Ms. Crystal: None, I’m practical and they would serve no purpose in real world existence.
Mr. Andy: Someone I can tolerate…
Ms. Maggie: The mythical creature I wish existed is a fairy that came in and cleaned my classroom, my room and anything else that I have to clean. I would want this creature to exist because I do not like cleaning.
Ms. Mikayla: Dragons! I used to collect dragon figurines and I was obsessed with them when I was little.
Ms. Katie: I wish unicorns existed. I was obsessed with them as a little girl and love horseback riding. So, it would combine two of my favorite things.
Ms. Hailey: unicorn so I can ride on it & fly
Ms. Ericka: MERMAIDS!! But I'm not sure that my answer counts because I think their down there in that big place we call an ocean. Nobody has found then yet. Let's remember that only 5% of the ocean has been discovered!
Ms. Erin: Pegasus, because Greek myths are my favorite
Ms. Alisha: I’m not really into mystical creatures.
Ms. Allison: I would want Great Eagles from LotR, mostly because it would be awesome to have giant birds do my bidding, but secondly because I would want to fly with them!
