Junior High Scheduling for Current 7th Graders
If you missed our virtual scheduling meeting last Wednesday, don't worry! Check out the video linked below (also can be found on the Scheduling Hub) so you can stay up-to-date on scheduling information. We also have an in-person scheduling meeting for families tomorrow, Thursday, February 29th, at 7:00 pm in our Cafeteria.
Through the end of next week (Friday, March 8th), if you or your student(s) have questions about the scheduling process, please reach out to one of the administrators or your child's school counselor. You will also find a Google Form at the bottom of the Scheduling Hub that will allow you to send a question directly to us.
Students have received their Elective Request Worksheet. This lists all electives offered at Lakeview and will help students plan out their elective requests to make sure they have requested enough units. Students do not need to turn in this worksheet; it is simply to help them through the process.

Upcoming Panorama Survey
In early March, students will have the opportunity to complete the Panorama Spring SEL surveys. These surveys help to provide us with social and emotional learning information, which we use to plan interventions and outreach to best support our students. SEL is the process through which children and adults apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. These are the skill sets that promote success in life.
To view the surveys, please use these links to access the SEL Competencies survey and the Supports and Environment survey. Please notify us if you do not want your child to participate in the survey by next Friday, March 1st. To opt-out, you may return the completed form (below) or email your child’s School Counselor.
