Apps to Make Teaching Easier
Doc to Form
We all have plenty of quizzes save as a Word Document, but did you know that you can transfer those quizzes to Google Forms? With the Doc to Form extension, and a few button clicks, your questions can become a Google Form in no time! Students can then take the quiz on Forms. Google has updated Forms to have a quiz functionality making it even easier than before! This is definitely useful for our 3rd-8th grade students using Chromebooks. AND...it makes the quiz creating even easier for you!

Meaningful Techy Centers in K-2
These QR code cubes caught my eye as an appealing idea for primary students. This specific example is used a Reflection cube where students scan the code and are given a question to reflect on their learning. The possibilities are endless with these cubes. I have worked a little with QR codes in first grade, but they are SUPER easy to teach. I can think of tons of ideas for student learning. Read about some more ideas here.
