December 24th, 2018 Happy Holidays!!!
Dear Poupard Families,
Happy Holidays
It was busy around Poupard this past week. I saw and experienced so many great things happening in classrooms and around the school:
- Students bringing in bags of shoes to donate towards a great cause.
- Parcells Band and Orchestra performing for our students.
- 3rd Grade Students participating in a class auction
- 5th grade performing their instruments for their peers
- Holiday Parties inside of homerooms
- Spirit Week for Kindergarteners
- PJ Day on Friday for all students
These are only a few of the special moments from this past week that students will remember about their time at Poupard.
I hope all of our students enjoy their special moments with loved ones over this Holiday Break. Our staff wishes you all a safe, joyful and blessed Holiday Season. We look forward to seeing your learner on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019.
Thank you for making Poupard an amazing place to be!

Notes from the Office Staff
BRR It's Cold...Preparing for Winter
Poupard students go outdoors for recess two times each day throughout the school year unless it is raining hard or the wind chill is below zero degrees Fahrenheit. Please be sure that your child leaves for school dressed properly for the weather. All students must have boots and snowpants to play on the wood chips, field and gaga ball court once the snow is on the ground—otherwise they must stay on the blacktop.
Students may build things (snowmen, fort, snow angels, etc) with the snow but are not permitted to throw snow or ice while on Poupard grounds. This will help all the students enjoy the joy of snow.
We also ask that you write your child’s name on his/her gloves, hats, boots, and
coat. Our Lost and Found quickly fills up!
Thank you!!!
