National Naval Officers Association Scholarship
For the past 36 years the Washington D.C. Chapter of the National Naval Officers Association (DCNNOA) has provided scholarship opportunities to graduating minority seniors from the DC metropolitan area (Maryland, Washington, DC and Northern VA). We are a non-profit 501(C3) organization.
Each year DCNNOA awards over 30 scholarships starting at $1,000.00 to minority youth from the Washington, DC Metropolitan area based on academic achievement, positive community involvement, commitment, and financial need. Scholarship recipients select their major and attend the college or university of their choice without any obligation to join or affiliate with the military. An applicant needs to submit only one application package and he or she will be considered for any of our scholarships for which they meet the requirements.
Annapolis Musicians Fund for Musicians
2024 Tim King Scholarship
AMFM will award a $5000 scholarship to a deserving candidate. Applicants must be a graduating senior, living in Anne Arundel County and enrolled next fall at a four-year university with a major in music performance. 3.0 Minimum GPA
National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc.
The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., Alpha Mu chapter is searching for applicants for our annual scholarships. We are offering one scholarship in the amount of $1000.00.
We are an educational sorority and preference will be given to students that will be majoring in the field of education as well as other educational support disciplines to include speech therapists, educational psychologists and psychiatrists, school based nursing, physical and occupational therapists and other educational resource positions.
SILA Foundation Post-Secondary College Scholarship
Between March 1-April 30, 2024 , the Securities and Insurance Licensing Association Foundation, Inc. Pureland Supply Skilled Trades Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Stratos Jet Charters, Inc. $2000 scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Current enrollment in a college or university within the United States or transitioning from high school to an institution of higher learning in the U.S.
- Have at least a 3.0 GPA
- Be on track to enter a field of the aviation industry
There's Space for Everyone Scholarship
Nobody is better suited to change the way we look at the world than you, the leaders of tomorrow. You’re not afraid to challenge authority and the status quo in order to make the world a fairer and more inclusive place for all people, no matter their race, gender, physical ability, ethnicity, national origin, nationality, religion, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identification, or age.
We will award a total of eight $3,000 scholarships: Five (5) scholarships to any student attending an accredited college or university in the U.S., and three (3) scholarships to employees or immediate family members of Extra Space Storage.
Herren Project Student Scholarship
Herren Project awards two $500 post-secondary education scholarships to high school seniors each year. This leadership scholarship will be awarded to individuals showing exemplary passion and commitment in preventing the misuse of substances, spreading the message of wellness and/or empowering their peers to take steps towards happier, healthier lives.
How to Apply
Submit an essay showing how you have embodied one or more parts of Herren Project’s mission. Essays should not exceed 550 words. All applications must include a recommendation from a teacher, advisor or adult mentor. Applications must be submitted by 5pm ET on April 26, 2024. They will be reviewed by our scholarship committee and recipients will be notified by May 3, 2024.
Sunrise Scholarship
Soliant is proud to sponsor our Sunrise Scholarship, through which we award a one-time educational scholarship of $1,000 to a student who best answers the question presented for our Fall 2024-Spring 2025 program.
Fall 2024 – Spring 2025 Scholarship Program

Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association
Organized in 1930, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association (LA FRA) is chartered to aid, assist and promote all matters pertaining to welfare, social, and patriotic works of the Fleet Reserve Association , its members and their families. There are LA FRA Units located throughout the United States and the Philippines. There is also a Membership-at-Large (MAL) roll administered by the LA FRA National Offices, for those who do not have access to, or do not desire to join a Unit. The LA FRA is proud of the heritage and traditions of this great nation and we recognize the sacrifices, past and present, needed to keep us strong and free.
LA FRA Scholarship: be awarded annually to the male or female candidate chosen from children or grandchildren of members of the FRA and LA FRA.

Applicant must be the child or grandchild of a Naval, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard service member, active Fleet Reserve, Fleet Marine Corps Reserve, or Coast Guard Reserve, who is retired with pay or deceased.
LA FRA Education Foundation makes scholarship applications available from 1 September thru 15 April each year for the following school year.
Scholarship deadline:
APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTS POSTMARKED LATER THAN 15 APRIL will not be considered. All applicants are considered for any scholarship the LA FRA is able to offer during a specific year, provided the applicant meets the eligibility requirement for the award (based on the desires of the donor). Scholarship recipients are notified in writing and by telephone. FRA only notifies the applicants who have been selected to receive a scholarship.
Recipient must
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Be attending a college, full time, located in the United States, and
- Not have received or will not be receiving scholarships, awards or grants that fully pay tuition for the fall college semester
DKG Omega Scholarship
The Omega Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma is pleased to offer The Betty White Educational Scholarship, a $1000 Scholarship offered to students graduating high school with an IEP. Betty White was a dedicated special education teacher in AACPS for many years.

Dunkin Scholarship
Dunkin’ and its franchisees are committed to a strong local community. The Dunkin’ Baltimore/Metro DC Regional Scholarship Program has been established to recognize the importance of education and provide support to residents of the community and our extended corporate family. This program will award up to fifty $2,500 scholarships to qualified students throughout the region.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.
Up to 50 scholarships will be granted. If selected as a recipient, the student will receive:
- A $2,500 award
- Awards are for one year only and are not renewable.
- Awards are one-time only, student may not receive award more than once.
- Awards are for undergraduate study only.
Notification
Applicants will be notified in June. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
- Academic record
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
- Work experience
- A statement of educational and career goals and objectives
- Unusual personal or family circumstances
- An online recommendation
Washington DC Chapter of the National Naval Officers Association (DCNNOA)

Marni McNichol Scholarship Fund
I'm excited to announce that the Marni McNichol Scholarship is now open and taking applications for the 2023 - 2024 school year! We will be awarding $20,000 in merit scholarships to the class of 2024. We consider academics, extracurriculars and family income when making our decision. We also ask that the applicant provide a short essay about their experience with cancer.
The application deadline is April 19, 2024.
Kamryn Lambert Foundation
The Kamryn Lambert Scholarship provides an annual scholarship to three local graduating high school seniors. The scholarship was established as a way to keep Kamryn's memory alive and to honor the medical staff who cared for her during her three year battle with cancer.

The Elaine's Gift Scholarship
Elaine's Gift was established to honor her legacy and her desire to give her children every opportunity for advancement. This fund awards scholarships to the children of single mothers, who have demonstrated academic excellence, community involvement, and desire to pursue higher education through an accredited college, university, or trade school, yet are hampered by financial need.
All scholarship applications and supporting materials must be received by April 19, 2024.

Delta Kappa Gamma Recruitment Grant
FOR GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS INTERESTED IN PURSUING A CAREER IN EDUCATION AND ATTENDING A MARYLAND STATE SCHOOL
APPLICANTS WILL BE JUDGED ON:
Financial need, participation in school and community activities, scholastic achievement, content of essay and completeness of the application form. Applicant must plan to attend a school in the state of Maryland.
Miss Utility of Maryland/DC Scholarship
Eight graduating high school seniors will be selected from Maryland and Washington, D.C., to each receive a $1,008.11 single-year scholarship. Applications will be accepted until May 24, 2024.
The Miss Utility of Maryland/D.C. Scholarship requires applicants to submit the following:
· General contact information
· Essay describing the importance of Miss Utility of Maryland/D.C. and how it could relate to a future career path
· High school transcript – we accept unofficial transcripts
To be eligible, applicants must be on track to graduate from a Maryland or Washington, D.C., high school in spring 2024 and intend to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or technical school beginning in fall 2024. Scholarship recipients will be notified by July 2024.

Annapolis Rotaract Club
The Annapolis Rotaract Foundation is happy to announce the 2024 Annapolis Rotaract Foundation “Service Above Self” Scholarship Application. The Scholarship will be awarded to (2) high school seniors in Anne Arundel County who embody Rotary’s motto: “Service Above Self.”
The 1st Place recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship and the 2nd Place recipient will receive a $500 scholarship, both for the 2024-2025 academic school year at an accredited community college, college, or university.

The Continental Betty Jean Fasier Wade Memorial Scholarship
The Continental Betty Jean Frasier Wade Memorial Scholarship, in the amount of $1,000, will be awarded to an individual who is pursuing a career in Computer Information Systems.
ELIGIBILITY
• Must be a graduating Anne Arundel County high school senior in good standing and
attending college for the first time.
• Applicant must have an acceptance letter from an accredited college, university, or

The 2024 Marjorie Hold Scholarship Award
The Severna Park Republican Women’s Club proudly announces the Marjorie Holt Scholarship Award. With this scholarship award we honor Marjorie Holt, Maryland’s Congresswoman, who served seven terms in the U.S. House of Representatives and was a founding member of our club. We hope to inspire young women with her example of achievement, leadership, and service.

To be considered eligible for the Odenza Vacations College Scholarship you must:

Print and Graphics Scholarships
The Print & Graphics Scholarship Foundation application system is now open to full- or part-time students pursuing secondary education in the graphics communications industry.
The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) is pleased to announce that it’s accepting scholarship applications for the 2024–2025 academic year. PGSF provides scholarships to individuals interested in an education and a career in the graphic communications industry. The 2024–2025 scholarship application period runs from November 1, 2023, to May 1, 2024.
The Scholarship Foundation is proud to have granted over $550,000 in scholarships for the 2023-2024 year to over 180 students attending technical schools, colleges, and universities in the United States
PGSF’s goal is to attract individuals to the graphic communications industry and to inform them of the wide variety of career opportunities available. The organization awards scholarships to high school seniors or students already enrolled in a post-secondary program, as well as to individuals who are currently employed by a graphic communications company and are seeking additional education.
This is the fifth consecutive year that PGSF is offering scholarships to part-time students.
“We strive to help students pursuing an education in the graphics communications industry, and we’re excited to offer scholarships to those already in the workforce for the fifth year in a row. It’s a valuable resource to employers and employees looking to expand and grow within their organization,” comments Jules Van Sant, Chair, PGSF.
Scholarship applications are evaluated during May and June, and recipients will be notified in July and August of 2024.
Dexter All-American Team Scholarships
One of the great benefits of USBC Youth membership is the chance to earn college scholarships so you can pursue your dreams. More than $6 million in annual scholarships are awarded to youth bowlers each season based on academic, leadership and on-lane performances.
Five male and five female High School members are selected annually for the Dexter High School All-American Team. Each student-athlete selected to the team receives a $1,000 scholarship. Additionally, one of the ten athletes selected will receive the Bud Clapsaddle Award, being named the team captain. The recipient of the Bud Clappsaddle Team Captain Award will receive an additional $500.
Any USBC member that participates on a recognized interscholastic high school team (varsity or club classification) is eligible to apply.
As a high school bowler, your selection to the Dexter High School All-American Team is based on your bowling accomplishments, academic achievement, letters of recommendation, extra-curricular/community involvement.
Got a Spine Scholarship
To be eligible for the Arctic Chiropractic "Got a Spine Scholarship" a student must:
1) Be attending college or university no later than October of 2024.
2) Be attending college or university on a full-time basis by October of 2024.
3) Have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater during their last academic year.
4) Be a U.S. or Canadian resident.
5) Be attending a school in the U.S. or Canada by October of 2024.
6) Submit answers to the essay questions no later than 11:59 PM EST on the day of the deadline.
2024 Highbridge Foundation, Inc.
For 2024, High Bridge Foundation, Inc. is pleased to offer two (2) $4,000.00 Impact Awards; five (5) $2,000.00 Scholarship Awards, and seven (7) $1,000.00 Book Awards to deserving high school seniors from the District of Columbia, Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Charles County, Howard County, Montgomery County, and Prince George’s County in Maryland, and Alexandria City, Arlington County, and Fairfax County in Virginia.
The scholarships may be used to help defray the cost of the recipients’ attendance at a trade school, community college, college, or university of their choice. The Foundation’s awards are intended to support the educational aspirations of young people from underserved populations, especially those who make substantial and noteworthy academic progress despite hardship conditions. Examples of hardship may include poverty, immigration, or adversity such as a disability or loss of a parent.
