Graduation rate surpasses state once again
Best Communities for Music Education
For the 12th consecutive year, Mounds View Public Schools has won the Best Communities for Music Education Award, presented by the NAMM Foundation. Mounds View was one of only nine Minnesota school districts to receive the designation for 2024. This year, more than 3,100 students in grades 4-12 chose to participate in band, choir and orchestra.
Chalkboard Capers opens tonight!
Chalkboard Capers is an annual musical variety show written, produced and performed by members of the Mounds View Education Association (MVEA). Through this program, MVEA is able to grant scholarships to graduating seniors. NEW this year, Chalkboard Capers will be held at Mounds View High School (1900 Lake Valentine Rd, Arden Hills).
Shows start TONIGHT (April 3) and run through Saturday, April 6. Showtime and ticket details can be found here.

Staff Appreciation Week
During the week of May 6-10, Mounds View Public Schools will recognize all staff during Staff Appreciation Week. Each day during that week, you'll see an employee group spotlighted on our social media pages. Thank you to our amazing staff!
Send a Thank You e-card to a deserving staff member
Last year, more than 3,000 customized thank you notes were sent to deserving staff members from colleagues, parents, students and community members during Staff Appreciation Week. Look for more details in the coming weeks.

Join us for the sixth annual PowWow
Join us for our 6th Annual PowWow on Saturday, April 20. We are excited to be joined by families, staff and residents of Mounds View Public Schools to honor our American Indian students! This is a free event and open to the public. The event will begin with a grand entry, honor students and end with a feast. Learn more here.
