"MARCH MADNESS" Reading Month!
MARCH MADNESS Reading Month is here! Please continue to check your Reading Month Calendar for all the latest and greatest Reading Month activities taking place this month! Thank you to the Reading Month Committee and all of those involved in making this a great month of reading for our kids!!!
Principal Book Read
I have a book on kindness that I will be using for my "Book Read" during tomorrow morning's announcements... If you would like me to read this book to your class, please let me know! I'd love to visit and read to your students! Let me know if you have a certain day/time that you'd like, or if I can just 'drop in' at any time.
Meal Train for the Guile Family
Thank you to those that have been able to provide a meal for the Guile family. They have been SO appreciative of all that our staff and students have done for their family. Currently, we have two meals for them this week. They don't have any food allergies or meal preferences... They are just grateful for whatever we provide. Food can be brought to school and dad can pick up at the end of the day.
If you/your team would like to sign up for a meal, please click the link: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0a4aa9a72aa0fe3-meal

OBSERVATIONS / EVALUATION PROCESS UPDATE!
Round 1 AND 2 of our Observations are done and Round 3 has started. The 'Noticings’ and ‘Wonderings’ sections will focus on the Dimension of (A) Assessment and (PCC) Professional Collaboration & Communication for our Round 3 observations. If I have my laptop it will be an observation; if I'm in the classroom without it, I'm just visiting! :-)
- Observations - We will again conduct a minimum of 3 observations for the year (district continuity).
- Observation Time - 10-30 min of lesson scripting and another 15 minutes of coding.
- I should be able to access or view your daily lesson plans with assigned standards.
- The first two observations will be unannounced. The third observation may be scheduled as agreed upon by the teacher and administrator.
- We will have a Dimension focus during each observation (up to two dimensions). The dimension focus areas will be the areas that the Noticings and Wonderings will be derived.
