A lesson from the Grinch...
“Then he slid down the chimney. A rather tight pinch, but if Santa could do it, then so could the Grinch.”
Yes, even the Grinch had a gold standard that he used as a reference. As educators, we need living models that we can look to for guidance. Mentors, coaches, and Master Teachers are here for a reason. We are all mentors and mentees at some time or another in our careers. I know I have certainly sought the wisdom and experience from a few of my mentors this last year. Thank you to the teacher mentors this semester that have assisted our new staff. We will get together as a mentor/mentee group again after the break.
And thank you especially to each of you for being a mentor/Hero to your special student. It's wonderful to see you all helping and loving the students that need us the most.
