Why attend a Memorial Service?
Anzac Day commemorates the landing at Gallipoli in 1915 by Australian and New Zealand soldiers. In recent years the day recognises all ANZACS who've served in wars across the entire scope of the world. The War Memorials across the two countries represent resting places for the young soldiers who never returned home. Anzac Day serves as a perfect way for millions of Australians and New Zealanders to reflect on the fallen soldiers who have fought for their countries. It also gives those people an opportunity to pay respects to living veterans, who remember the men and women who have fought beside them and march on their behalf.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Spread the Word!
2015 marks 100 years since the Gallipoli landings. A lot has changed since then, but their legacy hasn't. Now is the time to spread the word to get as many people as we can to a Memorial Service or Parade this Anzac Day. Use Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or even the powerful word-of-mouth to get everyone down to a service in order to remember the fallen heroes.
