Science Kit Giveaway - May 6th (First Come, First Served)
The MDUSD Education Foundation (MDEDF.org) is sponsoring a Hands-On Science kit give away on Wednesday, May 6. The simple kits will be provided to the families that are picking up food at the various sites from 11am-12:30pm. The intent is to provide a hands-on science experience with a lesson (that will be available in English and Spanish) to TK-5th grade students that may not be on-line, or otherwise engaged with hands-on learning.
The Foundation is not able to provide kits to all MDUSD students at this time, so will be specifically targeting those families who are utilizing the food pick up services, or that are otherwise in greatest need of supplemental educational opportunities.
