Plympton Family Update
March 28, 2024
From the Admin Team
Dear Plympton Families,
We had a great week!
Our Community Meeting was extra exciting today with our March Madness Staff Shout-out! Congratulations to Ms. Nadeau for taking home the win!
Thank you to everyone who came out last night for our Literacy Night. We had a great turn-out and loved seeing so many Plympton families engaging in literacy activities! The cookies weren't bad, either. 😉
Next week is a big week! MCAS testing starts, author Maddie Frost is visiting, Grade 5 students are going to Kennedy to watch the middle school musical, and former NFL player and Plympton alum, Mackenzy Bernadeau is coming to speak to the kids!
To those celebrating, happy Easter!
We hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Sincerely,
Adrienne Norris and Amanda Brennan

After School Poetry Club for 3rd to 5th Grade Students
This will be a playful, fun workshop where students will practice reading dramatically, engage in word games, and create lots of fun poems to bring home to their families. Thursdays - March 7 through April 11, 3:00 PM - 4:15 PM. Encourage students you know who are not in the play to register. Registration forms are here.
From the School Nurse
Attention all seasonal allergy friends! The warm weather has brought the pollen season early this year. Start your antihistamines NOW and remember to take it every day. Think about adding a nasal spray for those worsening symptoms.
Remember the Health Office does not allow cough drops or any other Over the Counter medicines, other than Tylenol, be given in school.
Be well,
Ms. Duquette, RN 781-314-5763

When your student's after school dismissal arrangements change, please send a note to your child's homeroom teacher. If you prefer to email, please also include our fabulous secretary, Mrs. Conneely, at meghanconneely@walthampublicschools.org. Mrs. Conneely and Officer Dani double check every bus list every day and cross check with the attendance for the Champion after school program to be certain kids are getting to correct location after school. Please make every effort to communicate any changes as early as possible. Calls after 2:30 slow down our dismissal process.
All student must ride the bus they are assigned. Students may not switch buses.
