Electronic Device Return
All school-issued electronic devices (laptop, iPad, hotspot) must be returned to school by the last day of school - Thursday, May 20.
All CCSD equipment must be returned (even disabled or broken). Please do not throw any items away.

Summer Reading at the Library!
Readers of all ages are invited to explore the animal kingdom this summer during the 2021 "Tails and Tales" Summer Reading Program at the Athens-Clarke County Library! Summer Reading helps young people build a lifelong love of reading and keeps their minds active and engaged all summer long. Sign up now to track the books you read, earn cool badges and prizes, and participate in fun activities - both online and at the library!
The Summer Reading Program is free and open to everyone, from babies to adults, and runs from June 1-July 31. There are a lot of exciting things planned, including fun programs and events, prize drawings, storytimes, book clubs, and more. Pre-registration for “Tails and Tales” begins on Friday, May 14th. Good Grades = Free Swimming!
The Report Card Rewards Program, a special summer program celebrating students with good grades, is offered for CCSD students, K-12th grade! A report card with all A's or all E's guarantees a free summer pool pass. A report card with all A's and B's, or all E's and M's, is good for 10 free swims.
Kinderswim is a FREE “learn to swim” program for any 5-year old who resides in Athens-Clarke County. The program is offered at various pool locations.

Hiring Incentive to Summer Day Camp Counselors
The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department is offering a $200 hiring incentive for summer day camp counselors in 2021. Employees will receive the bonus after the completion of the summer season.
Camp counselor opportunities are available throughout the community, including East Athens Community Center, Lay Park, Memorial Park, Rocksprings Park, and Sandy Creek Nature Center. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Applicants are encouraged to apply now online at www.accgov.com/jobs. For more information, call 706-613-3090.

Summer Meals
During summer school programming (at all schools), all students will receive breakfast and lunch.
Curbside locations will open on June 3rd. Meals for multiple days will be provided on Monday and Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at these schools:
- Whitehead Road Elementary
- Winterville Elementary
- Clarke Middle School
- Hilsman Middle School
