A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL BAME
Dear Laurel Park Families,
Thank you for supporting our Wake up and Read book donation drive, as part of a larger district effort. We are very proud of our greater community for encouraging young people to develop a love of reading. A special thank you to the LPE volunteer team who transported our book donations to the drop off site over the weekend!
Over the last few weeks, we have noticed a few habits that are quickly becoming problematic patterns. Please remember:
- Students should exit the vehicle from the door closest to the safety patrol/ staff member.
- Students should not be dropped off in our reserved parking side lot.
- Students should not be dropped off in our staff parking lot.
- Visitors, please walk around the sidewalk during carpool hours to avoid impacting traffic flow.
Thank you for your help in maintaining safe drop off procedures!

Ms. Magnani (T1 - Kindergarten) is our Instructional Assistant of the Year!
Boosterthon is 1 Week Away!
This year, our goal is to raise $30,000 for PTA Programing and Outdoor Resources, and we need EVERYONE’S help! Please begin thinking about friends and family who could pledge your student for the Laurel Park Boosterthon Fun Run. We want this to be fun and easy for everyone, so think of others who can support your student as they run laps to help our school.
Look for a Pledgebook to come home on Monday, 3/4 (or Monday, 3/11 for track 2) with more information. And don’t forget to save the Fun Run Date—Friday, 3/8 (T1) and Thursday, 3/14 (T2/3/4)—on your calendar. You’re invited to come out and cheer on our students! More details to come.
