It was an AMAZING week at the Rodman Preschool! This week we kickstart our NEW themes of nursery rhymes and fairy tales. Rodman will be eagerly diving into the world of beloved characters and enchanting stories. Our classrooms will be filled with laughter and creativity as they act out their favorite rhymes and tales. 😄 The teachers will introduce fun activities and crafts related to these themes, creating a magical atmosphere that will captivate our little ones. There Was A Cold Lady That Swallowed Some Snow
A favorite read at Rodman for the winter months -"There Was A Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow." This is a charming children's book that takes readers on a whimsical and hilarious journey with a peculiar character. Written by Lucille Colandro and illustrated by Jared Lee, the story follows the life of a cold lady, who, for reasons unknown, decides to swallow some snow.
"The Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow" is an engaging and interactive story that serves as an entertaining introduction to winter-themed vocabulary and concepts. With its colorful illustrations and rhythmic prose, the book encourages children to use their imagination while also emphasizing the importance of moderation and self-control. Ultimately, it is a delightful and educational read that captivates young readers and teaches meaningful life lessons.
